The location was marvellous, close to airport, in the beautiful area. Though some of the staff were standard, I had a very nice stay...

Its location was great, on the House reef, and in a new area. We had a standard king room with extremely comfy bed and complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee, and a kettle.

A rollercoaster of pros and cons

Excellent snorkeling experiences await just off the beach, and the staff members offer warm, attentive hospitality. The all-inclusive package is fantastic, with a good assortment of food choices, especially the expertly prepared reef fish.

Accommodation is quite basic and could benefit from better maintenance. Some room cleanliness issues were evident, and the outdoor noise from roosters disrupted the peace during the early mornings.

Special atmosphere all around, great and stunning location close to the main island where the airport that flies in from South Africa that does charters. Also, on everything we saw underwater.

The resident kittens and roosters added charm . the shower had a flooding issue.

Snorkelling was epic with awesome visibility, saw loads of turtles and fish! The staff were so friendly. The laid-back vibe and local island access were a nice touch for exploring.

The room was pretty basic, with an a/c unit that could use an upgrade. Not quite the luxury vibe you might expect in the Maldives, but still enjoyable overall.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and effective air conditioning. Enjoyed good meals with an array of excellent Asian dishes, particularly the occasionally featured salmon that stood out. On another note, some areas around the hotel could benefit from maintenance, as a few facilities felt outdated. The mornings occasionally started with the crowing of roosters, which could disrupt an otherwise peaceful experience.

Equator village had a fantastic all-inclusive deal with great food options. The daily snorkeling right off the beach was amazing, with vibrant marine life just a short swim away. Sogath and Nasro provided superb service, we had a wonderful time. Plus, we could rent bicycles for free.

Snorkeling right off the beach offered extraordinary visibility, perfect for spotting the vibrant marine life like turtles and colorful fish. The complimentary bicycles allowed effortless exploration of surrounding islands and local culture, a unique perk that enhances the overall experience.

Morning wake-ups came courtesy of the raucous roosters, and noise pollution from a nearby pier occasionally disrupted relaxation. While the dining options were solid, some facilities around the hotel seemed a bit dated and could use maintenance.

The food was delectable, especially the local dishes spiced just right, can't forget the reef fish! The pool area was another delight, offering a chill spot to unwind under the sun. Plus, my room was cozy with a comfy bed.

Just spent 6 nights at Equator Village, and it was a mixed bag. The staff at the pool bar were genuinely lovely. The pool and beach areas were nice to relax in. It really gave that laid-back vibe I was hoping for. I loved that the food offered was tasty. I appreciated the strong drinks too. The communication among staff could be confusing at times, and I felt this led to a few hiccups while trying to plan activities. The room, a standard double, had its issues. While it was cleaned daily, the bed had wheels was nice. I noticed broken tiles, a bit disappointing considering the price. The surroundings were charming, but there were roosters waking me up too early each morning. Not the ideal wakeup call when seeking relaxation. If they could improve on the cleanliness of the rooms and address the early-morning noise from the roosters, it would make a big difference.

The snorkeling was lovely, with vibrant marine life just off the beach. Biking around the island was a fun adventure!

The location by the beach is stunning, and it's really close to the airport and the main island where charters from South Africa fly in.

The hotel rooms are nicely decorated with fans, air conditioning, and very comfortable beds, and the staff are extremely helpful and pay attention to detail.
